Abundant meeting space and hotel accommodations are loacted within walking distance of the newly expanded Yakima Convention Center, boasting over 41,000 square feet of meeting space. Our year-round sunshine, wine country and unlimited outdoor activities appeal to both singles and families. Yakima's exciting downtown center includes new restaurants, wineries. and the historic North Front Street District shopping center. The Yakima Airport is just minutes away. As a major wine destination, Yakima Valley is the oldest appelation and most densely populated wine region in Washington State.

We want your upcoming meeting to be as well attended as possible. To make the most of the Bureau's resources, we suggest the following plan. If you have any questions, please contact your convention services representative.

Decision Time	Announce your decision in upcoming organizational publications with articles and images provided by the Bureau.
1 Year Out	Use the Bureau's tabletop display at your convention and distribute printed materials to generate enthusiasm.
8-12 Months Out
2-3 Months Out	Make use of our free photos and promotional information to enhance your convention brochure. Be sure to include our toll-free number so interested delegates can reach our visitor information center to get visitor information sent directly to them.
1 Month Out	Organize a news release about your event to generate local media coverage. Consult your convention services representative to distribute information to Yakima Valley media.
On Site	Upon advance request, the Bureau will deliver copies of our Visitor Guide and map for distribution to your registration area to educate delegates on the Yakima Valley
